Begin by saying the Prayer to St. Jude Thaddeus: Most Holy Apostle, St. Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of his enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the true Church honors you as the Patron of Things Despaired Of; pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolations and the succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (here name your petition) and that I may praise God with you and all the saints throughout Eternity.
On each bead say a Hail Mary and the following invocation:
St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr, and kinsman of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of Mary and of Joseph, intercede for us.
At end say following prayer:
O Holy St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr, great in virtue and rich in miracles, kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor of all who invoke your special patronage in time of need, to you I have recourse from the depth of my heart and humbly beg to who God has given such great power to come to my assistance. Help me in my present and urgent petition. In return I promise to make known your name and cause you to be invoked. St. Jude pray for us and all who invoke your aid.
